Welcome to Gerbera Academy. By enrolling in our programmes, attending classes, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Engagement of Services
Gerbera Academy provides educational programmes, workshops, and related services to children, teens, and families. These services may be delivered in-person or online.
The engagement continues until the programme end date or until terminated according to these Terms.
2. Payments & Fees
- Fees must be paid according to the pricing stated at the time of booking or enrolment.
- Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- If a payment is overdue, Gerbera Academy reserves the right to pause or terminate participation in classes.
- Any approved refunds will be issued in accordance with our cancellation policy.
3. Cancellations & Termination
- Either party may request to end participation in a programme with at least 2 weeks’ written notice before the next Term starts
- Gerbera Academy may immediately terminate participation if a student or parent engages in behaviour that is unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to the Academy’s reputation or community.
- Upon termination, all materials belonging to Gerbera Academy must be returned.
4. Student Conduct & Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- participate respectfully and follow reasonable instructions from staff;
- contribute positively to the learning environment;
- avoid any behaviour that disrupts classes or affects the safety and wellbeing of others.
Gerbera Academy may request withdrawal from a programme if behaviour repeatedly breaches these expectations.
5. Use of Materials & Confidentiality
All teaching materials, class content, and resources provided by Gerbera Academy remain the property of the Academy and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without permission.
Gerbera Academy treats all personal information, shared stories, or sensitive details disclosed during classes as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or for safeguarding purposes.
6. Data Protection
Gerbera Academy processes personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.
We may collect and store information necessary for enrolment, communication, safety, and service delivery.
Your data may be shared only with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors).

7. Safeguarding
Gerbera Academy is committed to providing a safe environment for all children and young people.
Staff follow UK safeguarding standards, including required reporting procedures where a child may be at risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
Gerbera Academy is not liable for:
- loss or damage to personal property brought to classes;
- any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
- issues arising from failure to follow instructions or safety guidelines.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded, such as for negligence resulting in personal injury.
9. Communications
Official communication between parents/students and Gerbera Academy must be in writing and may be sent via email.
Notices are considered received once acknowledged or after being successfully sent.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, logos, branding, course structure, and teaching resources are the exclusive property of Gerbera Academy and may not be reused without written consent.
11. Changes to Terms
Gerbera Academy may update these Terms from time to time.
Any significant changes will be communicated, and continued engagement indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
